This Dual-Light flashlight is ETLus and MSHA listed Intrinsically Safe Permissible. It uses an LED rated at 160 lumens that work in conjunction with a high-efficiency deep parabolic reflector to create a usable flashlight beam rated at 170 meters. A 130 lumens unfocused floodlight is integrated into the housing which is perfect for close-up illumination.

Additionally, both the flashlight and the floodlight can be turned on at the same time for maximum versatility at 260 lumens. The dual body switches provide momentary or constant-on functionality for the flashlight and on/off functionality for the floodlight. Power comes from 3 AA (not included).

Amazon Review - Durable, great battery life

I work in an industry that requires us to use intrinsically safe hand lights. I have been using these hand lights for over 5 years. They are bright and easy to use, even with winter gloves on. The battery life is very good. I have dropped, punted, submerged and abused them. Almost all the time they are none the worse for the wear. The size makes it very easy to put them into jacket pockets and my FR cover all pockets. A useful lanyard comes with the light. I will continue to use these as long as they are made or until they make a better hand light.

I work on the Metro north tracks with a contractor company these are the lights they use so i figures good idea to use it as well since I needed a light for the MTA jobs coming soon. it not the brightest light but provides sufficient lighting for its purpose. Its plenty useful in the tunnels and outside tracks at night. the bottom light is bright and helps you steer clear of any hazardous situations on the ground. I definitely recommend this light best 26 dollar flash light I have ever bought. it Does not come with any batteries.

Amazon Review - Awesome flashlight, A must have.

Great flashlight, I purchased two of these. I like this flashlight better than my mag light. Not only because it's lighter weight, The body is oval shaped and grip textured which makes it easier to hold in your hand without slipping. And I like the yellow fluorescent color which you see it better in the dark if you place on a dark surface. The light is pretty bright with a highly intense beam of light. And the flood light is a great feature if you are walking in a dark area where you must watch your step for possible dangers. The only thing I can say negative about this flashlight is the clip. The clip is made of plastic and I think if you clip it to your belt and walk around it just might break off. But besides that it's a great flashlight to have in your home or at the work site. I for the Chicago transit authority so when I'm walking near railroad track with 600 volts I have to be able see straight ahead as well as the ground. That's where the flood light comes in.

I will definitely buy this flashlight again.

I was 100 foot in the air and dropped my nightstick flashlight and it hit the ground. I thought it was done for sure. As you see in the picture it hit so hard it smashed the batteries. I replaced the batteries and it still works. I will definitely buy this flashlight again.
